Our Community
Leesburg High School has been a part of the Leesburg community since 1927. For nearly a century, we have cultivated a proud tradition of community support for all of our programs, including athletics, academic programs, and extracurricular activities.

Jacket Cares Team
Jacket Cares is made up of parents, businesses and community leaders that work together to raise funds to support efforts at Leesburg High. They meet on the last Thursday of the month immediately following the SAC meeting in the Tammy Jerkins Center for Teaching and Learning (Media Center).
S.T.I.N.G.
The purpose for the S.T.I.N.G. (Students That Improve Now Gain) application is to recognize our students who have excelled academically or improved their overall GPA. Students who qualify and complete the application for the STING Breakfast, will also receive raffle tickets for prizes.
How do I qualify for the STING Breakfast? - Your GPA must increase by either .50 or more from last semester to this semester AND/OR you must have a weighted GPA of a 3.0 or higher.
Gold (3 tickets) - GPA of 4.0 or higher; OR 1.00 or more GPA increase
Silver (2 tickets) - GPA of 3.5 or higher; OR .75 or more GPA increase
Bronze (1 ticket) - GPA of 3.0 or higher; OR .50 or more GPA increase
***Freshmen participation will be based on either their GPA entering LHS, or from their 1st Quarter grades.***
***An “F” and/or out of school suspension automatically disqualifies you from participating in STING for this semester.***
Final grades for the 1st Quarter were due on Thursday, October 8. The STING application will close on Sunday, October 17, 2021 at 11:59 pm. The STING Breakfast will be Friday, October 22 at 7:30 am during Intervention.
