Reading Programs

Leesburg High School is encouraging its students to participate in the Superintendent’s Reading Challenge for the 2020-2021 school year. The challenge calls for high school students to read 8 books over the course of the school year in addition to any assigned in-class reading. Books read must fit the following requirements:

  • Voice and Choice - pick what YOU want to read
  • Fiction OR Nonfiction - try for a variety
  • Target Audience is Young Adult or above (no Diary of a Wimpy Kid, etc)
  • When in doubt see Mrs. Gibson for guidance

Once students have finished a book, they must complete the book log form, available on the Student Hub, which is accessible through Classlink.
